IMPULSA was created to facilitate the development of entrepreneurial projects of a social nature. The support offered by Podemos consists of a cash prize for the projects most voted by the people and the opportunity to use the Podemos Talent Bank to open their projects to new partners, especially those whose skills are most needed. The funding for the IMPULSA project comes from the contribution of the elected representatives of Podemos, who, with their commitment as ordinary members of society to put politics at the service to society, have a salary cap, with surplus funds going to the winning projects. The existence of a common fund and a democratic, participatory and transparent project selection system will prevent the development of links between elected public positions and contestants initiatives which would devalue the project’s objectives.
